The Tunbridge Wells Winter Lantern Parade 2014
The winter lantern parade returns for 2014 in Tunbridge Wells for what has become an annual event in the town.
The lantern parade will take place on 22 February 2014 (moved from 8th February due to bad weather) and will be accompanied by lots of music and dancing. It will begin at 5pm outside the Tunbridge Wells Library (although further back from previous years along Civic Way), continue along Monson and Camden Roads finishing at St Barnabas School for entertainment and refreshments.
This year the Tunbridge Wells lantern parade is running a number of lantern making workshops with the theme “Myths and Legends”. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and can attend one of the workshops to craft their very own lantern.
The winter lantern parade is also the first in line of a number of events to celebrate the 75th Anniversary year of The Assembly Hall Theatre.
Children do need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. For more details click here...
